The Shawn Carter Scholarship Fund (SCSF) will be available to you starting on April 1, 2024, if you need financial aid for college. Whatever your obstacles—financial, academic, or personal—SCSF thinks you should have a chance at a college education. They assist you from the moment you enroll until you graduate by providing grants to cover tuition and other expenses. You'll also have the opportunity to give back through mentoring and community service.

Yes, if you're

  • A high school senior, GED holder, undergraduate, or vocational/trade student.
  • Under 25 years old.
  • A U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Coming from a household earning $75,000 or less.
  • Aiming for your first undergraduate degree.
  • Sporting a minimum 2.0 GPA.

Who is awarded the scholarship?
Scholars at SCSF come from different backgrounds and are fighters. Many come from single-parent homes, are the first in their family to attend college, or are low-income residents. If you possess resilience and determination, this scholarship is meant for you.
