International students who meet the requirements and start their studies in 2024 can apply for the Tasmanian International Scholarship (TIS) from the University of Tasmania. Eligibility requirements

  • Commencing Students: The scholarship is available to overseas students pursuing a new undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program at the University of Tasmania.
  • Academic merit: Applicants are evaluated on the basis of their secondary, diploma, or degree-level academic achievements. High-achieving students with exceptional marks are given priority for the grant.
  • Exclusions: Students enrolling for the following courses are ineligible for the Tasmanian International Scholarship

  3.  AMC Seafaring courses.

 

The TIS Scholarship is not available to international students enrolled in Study Abroad or Exchange programs lasting six to twelve months.
