The University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ) is providing an exciting opportunity for overseas students with the overseas PhD Stipend and Fee Scholarship (DPHD). This outstanding grant supports overseas students seeking a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in 2025, which aligns with UniSQ's major research topics. This award provides financial help for tuition and living expenses while students participate in world-class research activities.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, applicants must:

• Have completed a Bachelor Degree with First Class Honours or an equivalent qualification.
• Be eligible for full-time, on-campus enrollment in the UniSQ PhD program.
• Be an international student (not a citizen or permanent resident of Australia or New Zealand).
• Commence or continue their PhD studies in 2025.

Benefits

• Stipend: AUD $35,000 per annum for living costs.
• Tuition Fees: Covered for up to three years of full-time study (any prior study time towards the PhD will be deducted from this period).
• Industry Internship: Minimum of 60 days for students in the Industry Stream.
• Additional Support: Scholarships are also available for women in STEM and students with disabilities.

The Industry Stream requires a Letter of Support from an industry partner. To be eligible, continuing students must be 18 months into their full-time studies (or 36 months into their part-time studies) by December 2024.
