Erasmus Mundus (EMMIR) Scholarship 2025 Now Open for Applications

Applications are currently being accepted for the Erasmus Mundus Master in Migration and Intercultural Relations (EMMIR) program's Edition 13 (2025–2027) study placements. EMMIR offers a distinctive, multidisciplinary education in migration studies and gives students the chance to study abroad in several European and African nations.

                             

Qualifications for Eligibility

Applying to the EMMIR program requires that you:

  • Have a bachelor's degree in social sciences or a closely related discipline as your first degree from college.
  • Prove your English language skills with the IELTS, TOEFL, or a credential that is comparable.
  • Possess a strong sense of drive and enthusiasm for the study of migration, intercultural relations, or similar subjects.

 

Advantages of the EMMIR Program

  • Scholarships: Selected candidates may be awarded full Erasmus Mundus scholarships, which pay for living, travel, and tuition costs.

Procedure for Applications

Submissions are made using the eMundus platform. Three types of applicants are present:

  1. Non-fee Paying Self-Funded Applicants: Those who fit certain requirements are able to pursue their education without having to pay tuition or get financial aid.
  2. Fee-paying Self-Funded Applicants: Individuals who are able to cover their own educational expenses.

Significant Deadlines

The deadline for scholarship and non-fee self-funded candidates is December 18, 2024.

Deadline for self-funded, fee-paying candidates (first-come, first-served) is July 15, 2025.

 

How to apply:

  • Sign up for eMundus.
  • Fill out the essential fields in English on the online application form.
  • Provide supporting documentation, such as a resume, statement of purpose, copy of your passport, degree certificates, and evidence of your language skills.
  • Before the deadline for your grant category, submit the application.
