The University of Lincoln's Africa Scholarship provides an excellent opportunity for African students to pursue postgraduate studies in the United Kingdom (UK).   • Nationals or permanent residents from any African country (except Egypt).
  • Having been offered a spot in the University of Lincoln's full-time postgraduate teaching program, either conditionally or unconditionally, with a start date of January 20, 2025.
  • Scholarly Achievers: Candidates must have at least a 2:1 classification (or its equivalent) and a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) from an accredited university. How does it work?

For the scholarship, students do not need to submit separate applications. They will be immediately considered for the Africa Scholarship if they submit an application for admission to Lincoln University and are awarded an offer of admission. In the first year, the scholarship will be applied as a £3,000 tuition fee discount.

 

January 2026: Acceptance In the future, the scholarship amount rises for individuals hoping to enroll at Lincoln University in the September 2025 or January 2026 intakes:

 

  • £5,000 Scholarship for students with a 2:1 Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • £4,000 Scholarship for students with a 2:2 Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
