About the Role
- You will be picking, packing and driving a light truck (Car licence is all you need)
- Packing fruit and vegetable orders
- Delivery to hotels, restaurants, etc. in a nominated area.
- Monday-Friday role, and the occasional Saturday. Hours and work days are negotiable.
- Part time or Full time work available
- Early morning starts required
What We Are Looking For
- Good knowledge of fruit and vegetables.
- Experience in fruit shops, warehouse, kitchen, hospitality or supermarkets are highly regarded but not essential.
- Be ready to start within 1-4 weeks from the interview
- We are seeking applicants for the long term only
- Must be a motivated team player

Our client, a reputable fruit & vegetable wholesaler, are searching for an experienced OR eager to learn Pick Packer to join their team immediately on a full-time basis.
We are looking for people who are eager to learn and have an interest in this particular field. Based in Footscray, our client offers on the job training and upskilling. They are a family owned business, and pride themselves on their inclusive, tight knit and supportive culture.
Hours available;
- 12pm through to 8pm. Sundays and Fridays are their busiest days and therefore are essential. Flexibility can be discussed around these hours, and what five days you are available to work.
** Please note you will be working in cool rooms at times, and also there will be trial shifts to complete prior to obtaining a formal offer for the position.
Your daily duties will include a range of tasks, such as:
- Pick Packing using a manual sheet with orders listed
- Stock control
- Forklift operating - moving stock between cool rooms and open warehouse, and to trucks for delivery (only if you hold a licence)
- Loading and unloading stock
- Lifting items between 1kg and 20kg
- Maintaining a clean workplace
- Washing and weighing the fruit and veg
- Boxing up the stock
To be successful for this position you MUST have:
- Good attitude and willingness to learn
- Forklift licence is a plus but not essential
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Good dexterity and attention to detail
- Experience working in a fast paced environment

We are seeking motivated and capable Produce Handlers (Pick Packers) to join our Epping Operations team.
We currently have 4 Full Time positions available for an immediate start.
As a Produce Handler your key responsibilities will include.
- Order Fulfillment; preparing product in accordance with appropriate procedures and customer specification including quality control, grading, pre-packing, weighing, and assembling.
- Understand the specifications relating to labelling produce. The accurate and complete preparation and receipt of Value-Added Batch (VAB).
- Adhere to Health, Safety and Wellbeing, and Food Safety processes & procedures as instructed by the Supervisor.
- Competency to learn and operate the required warehouse machinery.
To be successful in the role you will have the following capabilities:
- Flexible to work early morning shifts (6am start).
- Previous pick/packing experience is highly regarded.
- Possesses and uses good interpersonal, communication skills and basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- General awareness, interest and understanding of health safety and wellbeing practices.

We are a growing company and are looking for night picker/packers to join our expanding team picking fruit and vegetable orders for our customers. We are located at the Brisbane Markets in Rocklea.
This hours would be between 3:00pm and mid night. We do operate 6 days a week but will have a roster in place.
We offer above award rates and the position is casual but looking to full time for the right person.
