Description

We are looking for passionate students to join our Finance team for a 6-month Internship.

This Finance internship provides you with a unique opportunity to apply what you have learned at university, use your knowledge in practice and develop your skills with one of the World’s Largest Sportswear brands.

This internship is an opportunity to get experience playing an integral part in the financial steering of this global company. It includes all aspects of management reporting, financial planning, budgeting and performance management on a company level.

The analyses and reports provide transparency to the Executive Board and drive both operational and strategic decision making, and resource allocation across our Global Sales (markets and channels) and Global Brands (product categories and marketing) matrix organization.

Start Date:  Sept 15th , 2024

Duration: 6 months

Responsibilities:

  • Support execution of selected projects with strategic / transaction character
  • Perform financial analyses of strategic relevance
  • Synthesize complex information for communication to senior leaders
  • Drive analysis of financial data on group level, by utilizing internal and external sources, combining this information to draw conclusions, considering the company’s goals and financial standing
  • Provide tracking and reporting of strategic business plan, annual operating budget and forecasts and insightful ad hoc analysis to understand business drivers of performance for the company and its different performance cells

Requirements

  • Student of Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting (or similar)
  • Must be enrolled as a full-time student for the complete duration of this internship, OR in the gap year between a Bachelor and Master’s degree
  • In your penultimate year of study preferred (with a maximum of one year to graduate)
  • Excellent skills in Excel, advanced skills in other MS Office programs
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Team player who enjoys working in international atmosphere
  • Passion for Sports and sporting goods industry
